It's Time!

We are just starting a unit on Time in Math this week. With grade 1 and the Ontario curriculum, the students need to be able to read time to the hour and half hour. For my grade 2's, I'm taking it a step further and reading time to the quarter hour. My goal for Math right now is to spend little bits of time getting the essentials in (3D shapes are next!) and then cycle back to tackle more addition and subtraction. I need to do some individual work with my 2's on two-digit addition and subtraction with regrouping before I can feel comfortable sending them to grade 3.

Here is the FREE O'Clock worksheet I did for my students. It gives the students the opportunity to use both analog and digital time telling skills. Enjoy!

And as an extra bonus, here is the link to the FREE Half Hour Time worksheet I completed. Both of these worksheets followed a SmartBoard activity and I gave the students one of the clocks we have to practice on while they were completing the sheet. They really enjoyed these activities!

Enjoy these FREEBIES and take them as my apology for not being as productive lately! Hopefully the craziness at school as well as with DH's family (FIL's health crisis) settle soon.
