Math Centres

I team teach in a grade 1/2 class (mostly grade 1). My partner teaches Language and Social Studies while I take care of the rest. That said, Math is my biggest subject that I teach. So imagine my delight when I came across this FANTASTIC post about Math centres from First Grade Garden!

Amanda also implemented Daily Math into her schedule. This is something I would like to do with my class because of the spectrum of abilities, but it will take some planning to get it started. I may use Daily Math (similar to Daily 5) after March Break and we can finish the year on it. It will likely take me that long to get it going! If you have any ideas for Daily Math, Math Centres, or if you are using either, I would love to hear from you!
